Urban areas in India and South Asia face an increasingly ominous threat – climate change. Promoting climate resilience by developing innovative solutions to address climate change, by focusing on mitigation, adaptation, and sustainability, is the need of the hour.
WASH Innovation Hub (WIH) at ASCI and GIZ, India, are pleased to announce an innovation challenge to promote climate-resilient water and sanitation service delivery in cities. The challenge is open to innovative technologies, business models, and financing arrangements in mitigation and adaptation. The best entries will receive funding, access to work with cities, and network with funders and mentors.
WASH Innovation Hub (WIH) is a platform for innovative WASH solutions and building the capacities of municipalities and other stakeholders for implementing and sustaining identified solutions. The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) in partnership with GoTS, has established the WASH Innovation Hub (WIH) as an initiative to promote innovations that can support cities in developing sustainable service delivery systems and is committed to achieving SDG 5, 6 & 11.
